    Arthritis, Salt Deposits, Articular Rheumatism:

Patients suffering from various types of arthritis, tendovaginitis (inflammation of the joint sacs) and joint inflammation should take a decoction of bay leaves. (Brew 1 tablespoon of finely chopped bay leaves with 400 g of boiling water, boil for 10 minutes, then pour into a thermos and leave in the thermos overnight). Strain in the morning and take 1/3 cup 3 times a day for 15-20 minutes before meals for two weeks.

SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE šŸ‘‡šŸ»

My viral winter cough syrup recipe is back because so are the sniffles šŸ¤§ā„ļø (recipe below). Stella was coughing today, so I knew it was time to make ours.

Store-bought cough syrups for toddlers really don’t do much and are expensive šŸ’ø— let’s DIY your own that’s actually effective! SAVE THIS! šŸ’”

    RECIPE:

    - 1 cup honey šŸÆ (raw & unfiltered is best)

    - 1 cup water šŸ’§

    - 1 whole lemon šŸ‹, chopped

    - 1 whole ginger root šŸ§”, chopped (I used ginger concentrate cubes)

    - 1 tablespoon oregano šŸŒæ

    - 1 tablespoon cinnamon šŸŒŸ

    - 2 tsp turmeric šŸŸ”

    - 2 tsp black pepper (activates turmeric) āš«ļø

Put it all in a mason jar, place it in the fridge for 48 hours, then you can strain or scoop out the chunks if desired! I add a bow to mine and give them out as gifts šŸŽ€āœØ.

*** Pediatricians recommend waiting until 2 years old to give honey; ask yours and use your judgment!

Lasts 1-2 months in the fridge. If you skip the water, it’ll last even longer and taste stronger, but if you take it daily, it’ll be gone by then.

Stops coughs, soothes throats, and supplies your body with a boost to fight off viruses šŸ¦ . For an extra boost this year, I added elderberry & echinacea tinctures —tastes so good in hot tea! ā˜•ļø

    Ozempic:
I think we just stumbled upon the biggest cause of waste in Medicare

RJK Jr reveals the reason hugely inflated costs for drugs on Medicare get approved is because US Congress “have taken money from the manufacturer”

EXAMPLE: “Over 100 members of Congress support a bill to fund Ozempic with Medicare at $1,500 a month. Most of these members have taken money from the manufacturer of that product”

“Why are members of Congress doing the bidding of this Danish company instead of standing up for Americans”

    - US Congress gets paid off by pharmaceutical companies
    - They approve astronomical prices for drugs for Medicare
    - Taxpayers pick up the bill

Thyme Natural Cough Syrup: Do It Yourself (DIY)

Thyme cough syrup, made from the herb *Thymus vulgaris*, its a natural remedy used to alleviate respiratory issues. Here are some of the benefits of thyme cough syrup:

    1. Cough Relief: Thyme has antitussive (cough-suppressing) properties that help reduce both dry and productive coughs by soothing the respiratory tract.

    2. Antimicrobial- Thyme is rich in *thymol*, a compound with antimicrobial properties, which can help fight bacteria and viruses that may cause infections in the respiratory system.

    3. Expectorant- Thyme can help loosen and expel mucus from the airways, making it useful for treating chest congestion associated with colds, bronchitis, or respiratory infections.

    4. Anti-inflammatory: It has anti-inflammatory effects that reduce irritation in the throat and airways, helping to alleviate symptoms like sore throat or coughing fits.

    5. Bronchodilator: Thyme has bronchodilatory effects, meaning it can help open up the airways, which is particularly useful for people suffering from asthma or bronchitis.
