Would you like to be a part of supporting an Ubuntu (African) organization in getting it's feet off the ground and establishing a community that will build economic well-being for the collective while offering services to support and nurture the well-being of WanaUbuntu (Africans)?
I have been told by some to make it clear that I am looking for money to support my personal urgent needs, emphasize the urgency, but as we move away from a world that is centered on individualism we have to insist that the personal is not separate from the community. The success of Mbôngi ya Ubuntu is my success, my success is the success of Mbôngi ya Ubuntu.
We can't just keep talking about detaching from individualism and going back to our communal ways. We have to move beyond talking and start building mechanisms that will help us get there.
Asanteni.
