The United States is moving to cut vital defence funding for European countries bordering Russia, including the Baltics and Poland. The Pentagon’s plan, backed by President Donald Trump, would slash key programmes that provide weapons, training, and intelligence support. Senegal 🇸🇳 has introduced mandatory e-visa payments for travellers from the U.S., UK, France, China, and other non-African countries as part of major immigration reforms.

The new policy aims to streamline entry procedures while generating revenue and strengthening border control. African travellers remain exempt from the charges.

A total of 22 countries across Africa are scheduled to be hit with higher tariffs from 7 August, according to a new White House executive order.
