Nduku Mulumba is an Ubuntu Woman born and raised in Kenya. She is a native KiUbuntu (erroneously known as KiSwahili) speaker, raised in Kenya and went to school in Kenya until she graduated high school and moved to the U.S. for further studies more than 20 years ago.
Nduku is committed to connecting with her Brothas and Sistas who descend from Our Ancestors who were taken from Our Motherland and shipped to foreign lands where they were enslaved, connecting with them to help them reclaim Our Ubuntu Culture through language among other cultural aspects.
Nduku is the host of Kumbukeni, a weekly podcast which airs every Sunday at 12pm EST on YouTube, and LinkedIn, on which Nduku joined by other WanaUbuntu (Afrikans), speak on matters affecting Nsi ya Ubuntu (Afrika) and WanaUbuntu from an Ubuntu Perspective. She is also a co-host on The Emerging Alkebulan Awakening Series, an Ubuntu grounded podcast with conversations twice a month on YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Nduku has taught KiUbuntu to non-KiUbuntu speaking Diasporans for more than six years in a non-academic capacity and continues to do so online to communities of WanaUbuntu who are reaching back to learn more about their culture. Nduku approaches language teaching from an Ubuntu perspective.
Not only does Nduku have KiUbuntu as one of her Ubuntu tongues, Nduku learned KiUbuntu using the building of both speaking, reading, and writing skills throughout her school years in Kenya.
