On Saturday Newcastle faced Reading and lost once again in a strange game. The fact was that Newcastle played well for 60 minutes, most likely due to the return of midfield maestro Yohan Cabaye. From the first minute it was plain to see that Cabaye was running the game, setting up Papi s Ci se up for three chances, none of which hit the back of the net.However after some neat play from Sylvain Marveaux, that saw Willie Mays Jersey him win a free kick 20 yards out, Cabaye stepped up to clip the ball nonchalantly over the wall and into the top corner.Reading improved after half time, but lacked any real impetus, Pavel Pogrebnyak had a good chance but skied it high over the bar.
