ATLANTA – On Sept. 25, as members of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation (MCN) march to appear before Atlanta's 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for a battle over disputed land, they will be met with calls to end their long history of racial discrimination. Black Creeks (also known as Creek Freedmen) will hold a press conference at the courthouse at 10:15am ET to expose the hypocrisy of MCN leaders, who have failed to follow federal law as it pertains to the descendants of formerly enslaved citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
