Not to be confused with T.J. Swan of the Juice Crew. T.J. Swann is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He released one of the first hip hop records ever with his single "And You Know That" in 1979. Swann collaborated with Peewee Mel for the single "Maximus Party" in 1980. He collaborated with Peewee Mel and Barry B as Maximus 3 on the single "Are You Ready" in 1981. That same year, he released the single "Get Fly" as T.J. Swann & Company.
