Free housing for all citizens: The government intends to build enough houses so that all citizens, regardless of their income, will have access to free housing.
No tax deductions: The projects will be funded by streamlining government spending and reallocating resources. There will be no tax deductions from citizens' salaries to fund these projects.
Target year: The goal is to provide every Burkinabè with a house by 2030.
Social housing units: The government has already launched a project to build 1,000 social housing units to address housing shortages and improve living conditions. These units are being strategically distributed across various regions to maximize their impact.
50,000 home project: Another large-scale project known as Renaissance City includes the construction of 50,000 homes in a new area called Traoré City. This development aims to provide families with safe, modern places to live and also bring jobs, schools, hospitals, and businesses to improve the lives of residents.
