One of the advantages of doing scientific research is to validate or invalidate what someone has said or written. We cannot settle on just Googling something to validate our claims or narratives because what was written or documented by someone can be wrong or falsified deliberately by one's hidden agenda. Therefore, we must take a collective approach to gathering all the data from History, Science, Linguistics, Archeology, Anthropology, Law Documents, and so on. This collective data is called scientific research which ends all arguments and debates but can also approve or disapprove what someone said or has written. Dr. Clyde Winters on YouTube periodically gives a course (on a college level) that teaches how to do scientific research on any subject matter including history. This is something that anyone can learn and do without a higher learning education or degree. Your reports, documents, books, and other writings including your presentations, scholarship, and dissertation (thesis) will be above the rest of most individuals who don't know how to do scientific research and will be accepted in journals including other highly credited places. Not all very light-skinned Blacks have a caucasian (white) parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, great, great... and so on. I'm one of them. Keep in mind that we only have been legally removed from chattel slavery in the USA 159 years ago--that's not long ago. The light bleaching of our skin carries over to our children in many cases even when our partner is dark-skinned. Many of us were born and raised Black with very light skin and are the by-product of many rapes during slavery. Some Black/Afrikan enslaved families were raped more and shared in the same horrific treatment as dark-skinned Black/Afrikan brothers and sisters but there's no argument that darker-skinned Blacks/Afrikans had it worst during chattel slavery. But once upon a time my dark-skinned Indigenous Black mothers/fathers in the land now called America (from Virginia, South/North Carolina) and my dark-skinned Afrikan mothers/fathers from West Afrika who mixed (both enslaved) like most of my brothers and sisters' enslaved ancestors, received the same brutal treatment of chattel slavery. This is what we all have in common no matter how light the skin color who are descendants of slavery.

Should you decide to study or want to research further than Black History, you need to study ancient Black Afrikan History that covers the 4-corners of the world. This notion that Black (Negro) people ain't Black Afrikan people and vice-versa is ridiculous. In ancient times, our Afrikan people including the Moors were great navigators and built ships that sailed across the sea, and the world--many migrated to new lands including America long before anyone else. I don't care how you look at it... We are them (Black Afrikans) and they are us (Black Negros) or any name you want to give us such as Black Aboriginals, Moors, etc. Any fool can look at both people and see a remarkable resemblance. During slavery, all Blacks from different lands mated willingly or forcibly. The white man raped our Black aboriginal mothers and Black Afrikan mothers repeatedly that bleached our skins. This also includes white women slave owners doing the same things to Black slaves (men, women, children) the white men did to Black females, males, and children. Recent studies show there were more white women slave owners than previously known. The ancestry is still Afrikan but many Blacks of all skin colors from different lands want to deny it.
