• Brothers and sisters...

I said years ago that there would have to be a civil war in Afrika for a major political change to take place for the betterment of the people, country, and continent. A fight against imperialism, neocolonialism, dictatorship, disrespect, and siding with the West and Europe on any level for self-gain.

  • APRIL'S LAST MINUTE BLESSINGS

About 4 weeks ago while I was still learning at the feet of GIZ Nigeria & ECOWAS, Dr. Emmanuel Odumusi, MATHEW OGUNTAYO, and ECO Consult GmbH & Co. KG one of our return client reached out that she's in a competition and needed some digital assistance, although I couldn't give her rapt attention due to my indulgence in class, I attended to her swiftly when I got the chance (especially during tea and lunch breaks).

After understanding her need, I told her she could do it herself, but she refused and asked that I did it for her (she wanted to create a video and run an Ad).

After a few dragging I almost gave in to her persistent worry

Then I recalled what my instructors had taught us that day, DCs' ARE ENABLERS, one of their goals is to guide non-tech MSMEs towards achieving digitalization

When that clicked, I sent a voice note and told her I'd guide her step by step until she got it.

She was a bit reluctant but agreed, after the first guidance, she gave up and asked that I did it (image 4), but I encouraged her to continue, she continued the process and she created a video for the first time herself (image 5)

I applauded her achievement and advised she didn't need to run Ads for the purpose we discussed, I told her the steps to take and she did.

Few days later! 🥰😃😂 just when we returned from our training, she sent a message that she's part of the winners.

(PS: never give in to pressure 😂)

I'm happy to share that we won a grant 🎉🎉🎉🥰

    Why we?

Because our clients win is our win!

Their business growth is our priority.

Thank you GIZ Nigeria & ECOWAS for the workshop session, it opened my eyes to better ways of becoming a digital consultant.

  • When ECOWAS summoned an emergency meeting in Accra, it was not to defend the future of West Africa — it was to defend itself from collapse. For decades, the organization presented itself as the symbol of African unity, promising economic prosperity, free movement, and democratic governance. Yet behind the polished speeches and grand summits, ECOWAS operated as little more than a political cartel — a clique of elites more interested in preserving their foreign alliances and internal privileges than uplifting the nations they claimed to represent. When Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso turned their backs and walked away in January 2025, they did not just leave a bureaucratic club — they shattered the mask ECOWAS had worn for fifty years. As the African Diaspora saying goes, "I am because we are, and we are because I am."

  • APRIL BUTTERFLIES

If there have been a moment to remember in the chapters of 2025, it would be the chapter of April.

It birthed new heights for me, my business and clients.

I couldn't have imagined scaling these heights in this chapter, but I'd be an ingrate if I'd not recognize the achievements amidst the struggles and challenges.

Even though April came bearing unpredicted news, it didn't end without a miracle.

Just this month, my first legal baby BOE_Writes Services clocked a year as a legal entity (This will come as a post on its own)

This celebration came with acceptance to over 5 business programs including the GIZ/DTC program by GIZ Nigeria & ECOWAS which I am currently undertaking.

Dear April, as I close your pages, I'll like to say thank you to my Creator for making me experience you and for not closing without a miracle.

Indeed the butterflies of April equiped me for more opportunities, network and experience

There's so much I'd be writing about you, April, and I'll be delighted to speak of you in subsequent months 😊🤗

Till we meet in 2026. April, enjoy the waves of time ✍️✍️✍️

  • THIS IS FROM A MESSAGE SOMEONE SENT ME FROM AN UNKNOWN WRITER WROTE BUT VERY APPLICABLE:

The anger of the peoples of Afrika bottled for centuries is going to explode not only in the DRC Congo, but in nearly all the political states of Afrika.
For over sixty years now those with political authority have not done much to re-organise Afrika to reverse what was done at the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885, which sowed seeds of social and political instabilities.

Instead of fast tracking the unity process, those in positions of power with political authority and military power spend time dreaming of Vision 2063, when people need genuine to their condition, as recently demonstrated by what has been done by Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger which have formed the Alliance of Sahel States, (A.E.S. ), likely to replace ECOWAS as the regional organisation.
The sooner the other regional organisations in Afrika and the A.U. take note of what has happened in West Afrika the better. Time is not on ther side.

  • Dear Reader,

Is Tinubu’s bromance with Macron hurting Nigeria’s neighbours?

It is the question asked by Eniola Akinkuotu: President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria is seeking to return Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali into the ECOWAS fold before his tenure as the union’s chairman ends in July.

But his fling with France, in search of investments at a time when anti-French sentiment is at an all-time high in west and central Africa, may be frustrating negotiations…
