If you are able, take time to send him a greeting.

You can still send your own personal cards or letters to political prisoners. It’s an easy way to help remind these freedom fighters that they aren’t forgotten. If you make one, remember—don’t use anything like white-out, stickers, tape or glitter on it. We also recommend that you put their name, address, and prisoner I.D. number on the card, lest the authorities “lose” the envelope and/or "forget" where it is going.

  • Today is Friday
    Rabi' The Second 01, 1446
    October 04, 2024

It is also the 81st birthday of Black Freedom Fighter Imam Jamil Al-Amin, who currently languishes, for more than two decades, in a U.S. dungeon in Arizona, doing time for a crime he did not commit.

How can it possibly be a "happy" birthday for him today???

    Homemade Toothpaste:
Additional written information from the video …
The only thing that I would do to enhance the fragrance of this mixture would be adding approximately 12 drops of citrus essential oil. You have the freedom to choose any essential oil that suits your preference.

  • Privacy
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) says that a national ID card would be a "gravest of threats" to personal privacy. Others say that a national ID system could lead to surveillance and monitoring of citizens.
    Civil rights
Some say that a national ID card system could threaten civil liberties and civil rights. For example, critics say that mandating national ID cards could violate the Fourth Amendment and right to privacy, or interfere with First Amendment rights to freedom of association.
    Racial profiling
Some say that a system that allows police to stop people to check their ID cards could lead to racial profiling.
    Costs
The Social Security Administration estimates that a national ID card system could cost American taxpayers at least $4 billion.
    Replacing lost cards
If a national ID card is lost, misplaced, or stolen, it could be difficult to replace. This could involve long lines, repeat visits to the DMV, and potentially lead to arrest or detention.
    Technical complexity
Other factors that could make a national ID system difficult to implement include migration, access to registration centers, and unprepared registration centers.

  • JUNETEENTH BLACK FREEDOM DAY

On June 19 th 1865, when General Granger arrived in Galveston, TX, as some of us have already mentioned, he arrived with Black Soldiers who were War hardened. What has been left out of that history as Dr Gerald Horne(Historian University of Houston) so eloquently states: General Granger arrived with 75,000 Black Soldiers. Why did he need so much back-up! Because the Confederates from Virginia, Louisiana, Arkansas, were bringing their slaves to Texas, with their plan to continue Slavery. To the south, was Mexico, under French control at that time, was supporting the Confederates. The French brought African Soldiers from Algeria(Which the French had colonized), Sudan and Egypt. The black soldiers, crushed them, stopping the exportation of Africans from the US to Brazil.
