  • THE PAIN, THE TRUE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR WORTH, AND LEADERSHIP

Leadership is never an abomination for those who are qualified; however, it becomes an abomination when those vested with authority abuse their power. True leadership entails trust, fact-checking, and the ability to differentiate between manipulation and the exalted content of one's authority.

    - "A leader is not one who has followers, but one who has leaders following him." – John C. Maxwell

Where do we go wrong? Perhaps it's when we delegate authority to each department, or maybe our emotions, ego, or even lack of wisdom come into play. Everyone has that one person who can influence them, but if you don't have someone who can hold you accountable, you're in a high-tension situation that's ripe for damage.

    - "Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another." – John C. Maxwell

A few months ago, I reflected on how some leadership structures operate. It's a pure dictatorship system in which followers speak ill of their leaders behind their backs but praise them to their faces. They play the game well, but those of us who aren't quick to speak know what's really going on. Once you start speaking negatively about your mentor or father figure, forget about being respected by others.

    - "The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things." – Ronald Reagan

In conclusion, as a leader or father figure, it's essential to know your worth and establish it before your followers to avoid chaos and confusion in this season of life. This letter is intended to offer guidance

  • Hurrem Sultan, originally known as Roxelana, was a significant figure in the Ottoman Empire and the wife of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Their relationship began when Hurrem was brought to the Ottoman court as a concubine. Suleiman, who became Sultan in 1520, quickly favored her over his other concubines, including Mahidevran Sultan, who had already borne him a son.

In a groundbreaking move for Ottoman tradition, Suleiman married Hurrem in 1533 after freeing her from her status as a concubine. This marriage was unprecedented because Ottoman law typically prohibited a Sultan from marrying a slave. By elevating Hurrem to the status of his legal wife, Suleiman not only solidified her position but also changed the dynamics of the imperial harem, allowing her to bear multiple children—six in total—including five sons.

Hurrem's marriage to Suleiman marked a significant shift in the power structure of the empire. She became known as Haseki Sultan, granting her unprecedented influence and authority within the court and beyond. Her relationship with Suleiman was characterized by mutual respect and partnership, allowing her to play a vital role in political affairs and administration, which was uncommon for women of her background at that time.

    Ozempic:
I think we just stumbled upon the biggest cause of waste in Medicare

RJK Jr reveals the reason hugely inflated costs for drugs on Medicare get approved is because US Congress “have taken money from the manufacturer”

EXAMPLE: “Over 100 members of Congress support a bill to fund Ozempic with Medicare at $1,500 a month. Most of these members have taken money from the manufacturer of that product”

“Why are members of Congress doing the bidding of this Danish company instead of standing up for Americans”

    - US Congress gets paid off by pharmaceutical companies
    - They approve astronomical prices for drugs for Medicare
    - Taxpayers pick up the bill
