  • Yesterday, I was lucky to attend the Africa Youth Tech Empowerment Conference hosted by #Sikhona It was an amazing experience where I got to meet and learn from great people in the tech industry.

Dr. Michael Thompson (President of Sikhona) shared an important message about how outsiders control most of our technology, and why we should focus on becoming producer instead of just consumers. Dr. Victor also gave us a thought-provoking technical question related to the Abuja Marathon. MrGrantMoney, Dr. Rodney Walker had exciting news for us, including a $100K funding pledge to support 10 startup businesses.

One of the best moments for me was getting the chance to ask Dr. Michael Thompson directly about the free courses Sikhona will be offering, including cybersecurity and many others. He answered my question clearly and gave a very detailed response.

Overall, it was an inspiring and eye-opening event. I’m grateful for the knowledge I gained and the amazing people I got to meet.

  • What is the $1000 per month universal basic income program?
    Example Universal Basic Income (UBI)

Yang's “Freedom Dividend,” as he called it, would give every American over the age of 18 a $1,000 check every month. Those enrolled in federal assistance programs could continue to receive those payments or opt for the Freedom Dividend instead.

SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE 👇🏻

My viral winter cough syrup recipe is back because so are the sniffles 🤧❄️ (recipe below). Stella was coughing today, so I knew it was time to make ours.

Store-bought cough syrups for toddlers really don’t do much and are expensive 💸— let’s DIY your own that’s actually effective! SAVE THIS! 💡

    RECIPE:

    - 1 cup honey 🍯 (raw & unfiltered is best)

    - 1 cup water 💧

    - 1 whole lemon 🍋, chopped

    - 1 whole ginger root 🧡, chopped (I used ginger concentrate cubes)

    - 1 tablespoon oregano 🌿

    - 1 tablespoon cinnamon 🌟

    - 2 tsp turmeric 🟡

    - 2 tsp black pepper (activates turmeric) ⚫️

Put it all in a mason jar, place it in the fridge for 48 hours, then you can strain or scoop out the chunks if desired! I add a bow to mine and give them out as gifts 🎀✨.

*** Pediatricians recommend waiting until 2 years old to give honey; ask yours and use your judgment!

Lasts 1-2 months in the fridge. If you skip the water, it’ll last even longer and taste stronger, but if you take it daily, it’ll be gone by then.

Stops coughs, soothes throats, and supplies your body with a boost to fight off viruses 🦠. For an extra boost this year, I added elderberry & echinacea tinctures —tastes so good in hot tea! ☕️

  • Get the names, terminologies, and timeline right, and you'll find who the people in the land were. The Greeks created the names Egypt, Pharaoh, Ethiopia, Sphinx, and many others. The Greeks invaded the land called Kemet (ancient Egypt) in 332 BCE and ruled for 300 years. Long before that period, the indigenous Black Afrikans ruled over Upper and Lower Kemet (Lower/Upper Egypt today), the same as all of Afrika where Black Afrikans ruled. The facts are there that refute those who disagree, and the indigenous Black Afrikans are credited for everything in Kemet, now Egypt. Many of your kind, including scholars, who are honest and value the truth tell you this.

Other invasions occurred before 332 BCE, such as the Hyksos, Persians, and Asians, thus giving a mixture of people, including mixed Afrikans. Many of the indigenous Black Afrikans fled South and West of Afrika due to invasions and flooding. Some Black Afrikans remained in Kemet and endured the hardship of the colonizers.

The Egyptians (not indigenous Black Afrikans) who ruled were there when the Greek invaders came. Add to that more mixture by the Greeks. When the Roman invasion occurred in 30 BCE and ruled for over 300 years, there was more mixture of people. All of these mixtures of people are the descendants now present in Egypt.

  • If you are a Black American, you need to watch this educational video to understand that Black Indians are indigenous to the land now called America. You could very well be a descendant. There were many Black tribes with various names that the Asiatic Mongolians (so-called Native American Indians) stole, including their heritage.

The Asiatic Mongolians arrived later throughout the Americas and scientific research proves it--Afrikans sailed and migrated to the Americas and this includes the what is now called the United States.

Most of the evidence in many US states points to the existence of Black Afrikan people. There are mounds, pyramids, house dwellings, forts, caves, writings, edges in stone, human fossils--oldest being Afrikan, and other evidence. The US government is hiding much of the evidence while others say the ancient civilizations were built by aliens. For us, alien should be the code name for Black Afrikans who were superior.

Watch the video and do your research. Start by asking all your family members, especially the elders, to see what they know or have heard.

Thyme Natural Cough Syrup: Do It Yourself (DIY)

Thyme cough syrup, made from the herb *Thymus vulgaris*, its a natural remedy used to alleviate respiratory issues. Here are some of the benefits of thyme cough syrup:

    1. Cough Relief: Thyme has antitussive (cough-suppressing) properties that help reduce both dry and productive coughs by soothing the respiratory tract.

    2. Antimicrobial- Thyme is rich in *thymol*, a compound with antimicrobial properties, which can help fight bacteria and viruses that may cause infections in the respiratory system.

    3. Expectorant- Thyme can help loosen and expel mucus from the airways, making it useful for treating chest congestion associated with colds, bronchitis, or respiratory infections.

    4. Anti-inflammatory: It has anti-inflammatory effects that reduce irritation in the throat and airways, helping to alleviate symptoms like sore throat or coughing fits.

    5. Bronchodilator: Thyme has bronchodilatory effects, meaning it can help open up the airways, which is particularly useful for people suffering from asthma or bronchitis.
