  • It should be noted that changes are about to take place at the African Union, and this includes a new director for the Citizens and Diaspora Directorate (CIDO) which is responsible for the AU's Diaspora Initiative as well as the Reparations programing for 2025. In light of that, this December 2018 interview from the past Head of CIDO (she is no longer currently in that position) is instructive for all of us:

  • A big congratulations to Siphiwe Baleka for facilitating this.

Guinea Bissau Grants Citizenship to African Diaspora - January 16, Bissau - The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Guinea Bissau today approved the citizenship of nine Afro Descendants, all of them Balanta descendants and members of the Balanta B’urassa History and Genealogy Society In America, founded by its President Siphiwe Baleka. The decision of the Council of Ministers comes after President Baleka raised the issue at the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights 83rd Ordinary Session in October. “It took three years, but Guinea Bissau has finally taken this important step in receiving her long lost children who were taken as prisoner of war and enslaved in the Americas,” said President Baleka. “ Guinea Bissau has now made a concrete contribution at the start of the African Union’s themed year 2025, ‘Justice for African people and people of African Descent through reparations.’ This is the internal reparations, the healing, that African governments are responsible for.’” President Baleka is now helping all members of the African Diaspora obtain citizenship as a chief advocate of their Right to Return and organizing the African Diaspora Assembly’s election for Provisional 6th Region representatives who will bring this issue to the African Union’s Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) at a Rountable in May being organized by the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR). https://www.balanta.org/news/guinea-bissau-grants-citizenship-to-african-diaspora

  • The government will start a ticket writing campaign, start hemming up more BLK/BROWN/poor ppl in the court system, lock them up and send you to the fields like they do now, especially for the private prisons the wealthy whites own. They've already said OUT LOUD they prefer BLACK MALES & females due to more testosterone, get sick less, last longer with disease as the Syphilis/MKULTRA-Manhattan project/Holman Sq., Chicago has shown. Prosecutors/D.A's/Judges/your court appointed attys/jails are the plantation owners today. Reparations would have been an inducement for some. • No. I guess African Presidents could repeat the threat they've made already, "The West must change the negative narrative. They have stolen the minds of our sons & daughters who we are sick of seeing killed in the streets like dogs". They just give another resource cut or..carry through with initial threats. Personally since Russia & Africa have alliances, such as building 15+ Nuclear power plants, I'd like to see Africa have warships sent for those ready to head to the Mother/Holy land. No one ever got reparations, they will never stop the racism and their $ is dead. Time to leave. Not gonna have resources in U.S:Given the extent of negative media narratives about Africa, should the African Union establish an Africa Credit Rating Agency?
